Pat Pitcher
Pat has been an RVO club member since 2021. She trains only using positive reinforcement methods.
She has taken and assisted in all levels of classes with RVO. She has attended seminars and taken courses with various organizations encompassing obedience, rally, agility and dog sledding. She keeps her knowledge and skills current with workshops, books and courses.
Pat has competed in dog sledding (snow and dryland), obedience (top Canadian obedience Siberian Husky 2008 & High In Trial Winner at All Breed Trial), rally (top Canadian Siberian rally dog 2012 & 2018) and conformation.
Pat has had dogs in movies, TV show, commercials and music videos.
Heather MacLeod
Heather has been a member of River Valley Obedience Club and the Canadian Kennel Club for over 35 years and has enjoyed competing in a variety of dog sports during those years. Her favourite sport is Tracking; she has been a CKC Tracking judge for over 25 years.
She has taken and assisted with RVO obedience classes and has helped organize various events, training seminars and workshops for the club over the years.
Heather has titled many of her dogs in Tracking (TD, TDX, UTD, UTDX, TR1, TR2, TR3), earning two Tracking Championships (TCH). She has also titled some of her dogs in Obedience (PCD, CD, CGN, BH), Rally (RN, RA), Scent Detection (SDIN, SDN, SDO, SD-S-SP), Flyball (FD, FDX) and Tricks (NTD, ITD, ATD).
She trains her German Shepherd Dogs using only positive training methods.
